Specialty Mexican coffee cupping

Special Mexican coffee cupping

Mexican coffee maybe sound unfamiliar in comparison with its well known neighbor, Colombia. Mexican coffee is a balanced and sharp coffee for espresso and filter. It’s really hard to detect a high quality coffee which is produced in Mexico, from a Colombian specialty coffee.

We are collaborating with a very professional and credible green coffee supply and sorting company in Mexico, Oaxaca specifically, Terra Coffee Company.

On May 15 we had a special cupping event in AbuDhabi which was hosted by Sara Alkhoori Coffee Academy. During the event we introduced the capability of Mexico to produce clean and balanced coffee. Mexico is famous for it’s Washed coffee processing so we introduced 6 different washed coffee from Santa Cruz Ozolotepec and Juquila. But the coffee industry is growing in Mexico and Terra Coffee is developing new crops by using microorganism experts to control the yeast and bacterias during the fermentation and processing. So the result f the new processes was revealed in the cupping which was 3 types of astonishing double fermented natural processed coffee beans that you could compare them with 2 types of traditional natural precessed coffee beans.
