Introducing the Best Coffee Farm to Future Generations

Anasora Farm is located in the small community of Kebl Wochu Solo in the Guji region of southern Ethiopia. This farm is still relatively untouched as a place for coffee cultivation, meaning it has young trees and ample space for processing farmers’ coffee. The unique climatic conditions, red-brown soil, and unknown native species have endowed Anasora’s coffee with distinctive characteristics. Mr.Tadese Edma, the third generation of a coffee-growing family, is striving to introduce Anasora as a top-quality coffee farm for future generations.

The Unique Conditions of Ethiopia and Anasora Farm

Anasora Farm, along with its washing station, is situated at an altitude of 1900 to 2350 meters above sea level, which gives it unique conditions due to the high elevation. The altitude results in lower temperatures, allowing the coffee cherries to mature more slowly and have more time for growth, leading to an extraordinary cup profile that can only be found in Ethiopia.

Until 2018, all coffee from this farm was processed naturally, but thanks to its proximity to the Turo River and the availability of water, the decision was made to also produce washed coffee. All the coffee on this farm grows in the shade of Albizia gumifera, African cordia, legumes, and banana trees.
